2 days peak hunt for Mt.Mizugaki

Mt.Mizugaki, at an altitude of 2,230 meters, is designated as one of the Top 100 mountains of Japan, located in the Okuchichibu Mountains. The peak features unique rock formations and a superb view of the surrounding mountain landscape.

This varied trail is full of fun. At some points you will need to climb up the rocks with fixed chains and ladders. But do not worry, they are well maintained and completely safe! The view from the top is breathtaking. You can see all around including Mt.Fuji, Mt.Yatsugatake and even Japan Alps Mountains on a clear day.

Itinerary

Day 1

(Depart at Tokyo (Shinjuku) and 1 hour 40 minutes by train. *ref. Location & Access)

13:00 Meet up at Nirasaki station.

15:00 Arrive at Mizugaki sanso Hutte (by local bus).

Day 2

7:00 Commence trail.

8:00 Reach Fujimidaira koya.

10:00 Top of Mt.Mizugaki & lunch break.

13:00 Return to Mizugaki sanso Hutte.

15:00 Arrive back at Nirasaki station
