1 day - Trace Mt.Fuji classic route (to 6th station)

 The world famous Mt.Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan at an altitude of 3,776 meters. Also its beautiful iconic shape has been worshiped as a sacred place since ancient times. 

Fujiyoshida climbing route was walked by many pilgrims in the Edo era, 400 years ago. Still now, historical ruins of shrines and lodges are remained along the trail in silence.   

The nostalgic trail goes on in tranquil woods upward, and finally reaches opened 6th station of 2,350 meters high. Panoramic outlook of the top and foothill is blessing you.

Itinerary

Day 1

(Depart at Tokyo (Shinjuku) in the morning and 2 hours by train. *ref. Location and Access )

9:00 Meet up at Fujisan station.

9:30 Umagaeshi (by local bus). Start walking.

11:00 5th station Sato Koya hut. (Lunch break)

12:30 6th station.

15:30 Umagaeshi.

16:00 Arrive back to Fujisan Station.

*Accommodation can be arranged before and after the tour.
