LOCAtion & access

My guide area, Yamanashi, is only 100km west of Tokyo. The capital is Kofu city, located in the center of the Yamanashi prefecture. Its population is about 190 thousands as of today.

Mountain area expands just like as surrounding the city. The Okuchichibu Mountains are in northern part, Japan Minami (Southern) Alps to the west, Mt.Fuji towers them all in south.

Optionally,  highway buses operate between Kofu, Kawaguchiko and Shinjuku.

Accommodations can also be arranged for before and after the tour. Yamanashi is known for its hot springs, so there are many hotels and inns with a lot of local charm.
